Transfer from the airport

A trip from the airport to the very centre of Nuremberg is fast and without any stops. Buses run every 10 minutes or so, and the bus stop is at Terminal 1. Alternatively, you can take Metro Line U2 which connects the airport with the central railway station. There is also the A3 Motorway near the airport. Leaving the arrivals hall, you will have no problem taking a taxi. There are also plenty of parking spaces in multi-storey car parks for you to leave you private car for a long or short term. 

Amenities for travellers

The airport has a very well developed network of bars and restaurants. Before you depart, try some Frankish and Bavarian dishes. You can also visit the Duty Free and Value Travel Shop, where you can buy some souvenirs and the region's delicacies: fine wine, beer, gingerbread and sausages. To pass you time, you can use free WiFi. At the airport, there are bureaus de change, ATMs and car rentals. The airport's attractions include a viewing terrace, which is free and open 24 hours a day! In addition, there are two playgrounds for children at the departure gate to keep your kids entertained while they are waiting for the flight.
