Weapons
Familiarize yourself with the key rules regarding the transport of weapons and ammunition. The carriage of weapons and ammunition must be reported at least 48 hours before departure through:
- PLL LOT sales office,
- PLL LOT agent's office,
- LOT Contact Center.
It is allowed to transport hunting and sporting weapons after submitting all required permits and licences. Transport of such weapons is subject to an additional charge if it is carried in special cases as separate baggage. Small pieces of weapon packed in checked baggage within the available limit are not subject to any additional charges.
It is allowed to transport up to 5 kg of ammunition per person.
Weapons carried by security personnel are not subject to any charges.
Archery equipment, safely packed, may be transported only as checked baggage. Such baggage is included in the checked baggage limit.
