Nuremberg Airport (NUE)

Albrecht Dürer Airport (NUE) is an international airport located 7 km from the center of Nuremberg. It is the second-largest airport in Bavaria, after Munich Airport, with more than 4 million passengers in 2019. 

From Nuremberg Airport you can quickly reach the very center of the city without any changes. There are bus stops in front of the terminal - services towards Nuremberg run every 10 minutes. An alternative is the subway line U2, which connects NUE Airport with Nuremberg's central railroad station. There is also the A3 highway passing by the airport, making it easy to travel by your own car. At the same time, don't be afraid of a lack of free parking spaces, as Nuremberg Airport offers more than 8,000 parking spaces. 

Nuremberg Airport offers its passengers and visitors scenic flights over the city, on board aircraft with several seats. Another attraction worth noting is the free observation deck, available every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. NUE Airport has a very well-developed network of bars and restaurants - these include popular chains as well as regional vendors. In addition, there are 2 children's playgrounds available in the terminal area to make your kids' wait for their flight more pleasant. Nuremberg Airport also has a comfortable Dürer Lounge, which any passenger can use for a fee.
