Ostrava Leoš Janáček Airport (OSR)

The Ostrava airport is some23 kilometres from the city centre. Transfers of this route are operated by, among others, railways – namely the S2 suburban line which has its station next to the departures hall. You can transfer between the airport and the city also by bus - numerous bus lines have their stops right at the terminal. You can also take a taxi – the rank is right in front of the arrivals hall. Alternatively, you can rent a car from numerous car rental representatives located at the airport. If you come here in your own car, you can choose from 5 different car parks, and the first quarter of parking is free.

There are 2 informations desks in the airport's hall. One provides airport information and will answer your questions about any details regarding your flight and required procedures. The other is the Ostrava Information Service where you can use services of a bureau de change and buy souvenirs, maps and guidebooks, as well as tickets for public transport and various local events. At the airport there are also ATMs, a room for parents with young children, and a play area for kids. You can make your stay more pleasant by visiting one of the airport's bars or shops. If you are travelling on business, you will certainly be interested in gaining access to the special comfortable VIP lounges.
