Lisbon Airport (LIS), also known as Humberto Delgado Airport, is the main airport of Portugal, located just 7 kilometers north of the center of Lisbon.

Transfer from the airport

Lisbon Airport (LIS) offers convenient access to the city center:

By Metro

To reach the center, take the red metro line toward Sao Sebastiao and get off at Alameda station. Then, transfer to the green line toward Cais do Sodre and exit at Baixa-Chiado station, located in the heart of Lisbon. The metro ride from the airport to the city center takes approximately 25 minutes.

By City Bus

From Lisbon Airport, you can reach the city center by city bus on lines* 744, 783, and 708. The bus stop is located right next to Terminal 1, and tickets can be purchased either at the ticket machine or from the driver. The bus journey from the airport to the city center takes around 45 minutes, depending on traffic.
