Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG)

The Belgrade Airport is situated 18 km to the west of the capital of Serbia. You get to the city's key points, such as Slavija Square, the Zeleni Venac Market and the New Belgrad district, by city bus lines 72 and 607. The trip will take some 30 minutes. The ticket is 150 Serbian dinars when bought from the bus driver, or 89 dinars at a kiosk. An alternative to the public transport is provided by the A1 charter minibus service. For 300 dinars for a ticket, it will take you to the city in just about the same time as the city bus, i.e. in half an hour. At the airport there are also taxis and car rentals.

Among interesting attractions offered by the Belgrade airport is an aeronautics museum. Spanning over a space of 10,000 m2, it will show you the history of the 20th century aviation and the most popular combat aircraft. You can also test your pilot skills in a flight simulator. The airport's shop to traditional Serbian clothes, household appliances and interior design elements is another local attraction, and a great idea for souvenirs and gifts! There are plenty boutiques of international clothing and jewellery brands, as well as outlets with useful travel accessories. After shopping, you can have something to eat in of the airport's bars and restaurants.
