Transfer from the airport
You can get from the Colombo airport to the city centre by public transport – a bus will take to a station near the famous Pettah market in just 25 minutes. From there you will easily continue your travel to other cities across Sri Lanka. Taxis offer a slightly more comfortable form of transfer from the airport – vehicles operating this route are directly supervised by the Colombo Airport authorities.
