MIŁOSZ BRATUŚ AWARDED YOUNG TOURISM LEADER

Miłosz Bratuś, Head of the Events Department at LOT Polish Airlines, has been honoured with the prestigious title of Young Tourism Leader. The award, presented by the Wasza Turystyka portal, was part of the inaugural ‘Gąsiory Turystyki’ (Tourism Geese; the term ‘Gąsiory’ serves to commemorate Adam Gąsior, the portal’s editor-in-chief) plebiscite, which highlights and promotes emerging talents in the tourism industry.

This remarkable achievement brings great pride to the entire Events Organisation Team and the Marketing and Communications Department at LOT Polish Airlines. The title reflects our colleague’s professionalism, dedication, and passion – qualities that play a vital role in the ongoing success of LOT Polish Airlines.

GRAND PRIX TEAM 2024 AND BEST MARKETING TEAM

At the prestigious 13th Best Marketing Directors of 2024 event, our team proudly took home the Grand Prix Team 2024 and Best Marketing Team 2024 awards. The competition jury commended our team for developing a compelling campaign that effectively leveraged digital channels to engage audiences while capturing the emotional essence of travel. The awards were accepted by Ewa Lampart, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Justyna Bednarska, Deputy Marketing Director, and other team

members. The award-winning campaign, ‘Ważne, z kim podróżujesz’ (It’s who you travel with), emphasises that travel is not just about the destination but also about the experiences of the journey and the relationships built along the way.

MICHAŁ FIJOŁ WITH THE ‘RZECZPOSPOLITA’ TOURISM EAGLE AWARD

Michał Fijoł, who served as President of LOT Polish Airlines until November 2024 and is now acting as Proxy, has been awarded the Tourism Eagle Award. The prestigious accolade was presented by the ‘Rzeczpospolita’ daily newspaper and the turystyka.rp.pl website in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field. The Tourism Eagle awards ceremony took place on 28 November in Kraków, as part of the autumn edition of the ‘Meeting of Tourism Leaders’ conference. Michał Fijoł received the award from Filip Frydrykiewicz, editor-in-chief of turystyka.rp.pl.

We wholeheartedly congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition and thank him for his contributions to the development of Poland’s tourism industry and the promotion of our country on the international stage!

LOT POLISH AIRLINES AND CCIG CONTACT CENTER AWARDED FOR BEST PARTNERSHIP FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW

For the second consecutive year, LOT Polish Airlines, in collaboration with CCIG Group, has been honoured with a special distinction – the top award in the ‘Best Partnership’ category at the Polish Contact Center Awards.

Receiving this award once again is not only a testament to the quality of our services and the satisfaction of our passengers but also a commitment to maintaining – or even surpassing – these high standards. With the support of CCIG Group, our contact center can ensure broad availability of our helpline for passengers.

BEST E-COMMERCE TEAM IN B2C SALES

Our e-commerce team has been honoured with the prestigious award for the best e-commerce team in B2C Sales. This recognition highlights our ongoing strategy of leading in innovation and new technologies, ensuring a seamless digital experience for our passengers.

The competition, organised by the Chamber of Digital Economy, seeks to recognise the best leaders and teams who set trends and achieve outstanding results. The award was presented to Małgorzata Bichta-Bartoszek, Deputy Director of e-Commerce.

PERFORMANCE MARKETING DIAMONDS EU 2024

LOT Polish Airlines was awarded three statuettes at the Performance Marketing Diamonds EU 2024 competition, organised by the Chamber of Digital Economy. This competition recognises the best performance marketing campaigns across the European Union.

LOT POLISH AIRLINES AWARDED THREE STATUETTES AT THE CEESAR AWARDS 2024 PLEBISCITE

On 8 May 2024, the winners of the 16th edition of the Ceesar Awards plebiscite were announced in Wrocław. Passengers from Central and Eastern Europe voted for the best airlines in the region. LOT Polish Airlines was awarded ‘Best Long-Haul Airline 2024’ and recognised for its outstanding check-in and boarding processes. The Wrocław-Seoul route was named ‘Route of the Year 2024’. Additionally, LOT Polish Airlines CEO Michał Fijoł was honoured with the ‘Manager of the Year 2024’ statuette for achieving the best net result in the company’s history. The plebiscite is organised by the Pasazer.com website.

LOT POLISH AIRLINES AWARDED IN THE LOYALTY HEROES COMPETITION

The competition, organised by Brave Conferences, aimed to recognise and honour the best loyalty initiatives and projects in Poland from 2023. The awards are presented by a jury of experts in relationship management and loyalty building.

The LOYALTY HEROES Final Gala took place on 17 April 2024 in Warsaw. We are proud to share that our LOT Dla Firm (LOT for business) loyalty programme received an award in the ‘Long-Term Loyalty’ category. The award was presented to Marta Kucharska, Senior Loyalty Programmes Specialist, who accepted it on behalf of the team.

MICHAŁ FIJOŁ AMONG THE MOST INFLUENTIAL FIGURES IN THE POLISH TOURISM INDUSTRY

Michał Fijoł, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines, has been recognised as one of the most influential figures in the Polish tourism industry. He secured second place in the ranking of the 100 biggest industry leaders published since 2016 by the waszaturystyka.pl portal.

In the first stage of the eighth edition of the competition, the jury distinguished three hundred individuals from the tourism industry in Poland. These included representatives from travel agencies, the hotel industry, tourism chambers of commerce, tourism self-government activists, regional and local tourism organisations, officials responsible for tourism, and academics.

When selecting the laureates, the jury considered their impact on shaping the processes and structures of Polish tourism, the extent of their contribution to the success of Polish tourism or its individual segments, as well as their credibility, media presence, image, and public and environmental engagement.

EWA LAMPART WINS THE MARKETING DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR COMPETITION

The Marketing Director of the Year competition, organised for the 12th year by mediarun.com, aims to recognise and celebrate outstanding leaders who manage the marketing, digital, e-commerce, PR, communications, and employer branding departments within companies and organisations.

In the 12th edition of the competition, Ewa Lampart, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications, was honoured with the title of ‘Marketing Director of the Year’ in the ‘Tourism, Hotels, SPA’ category. Her team was also recognised, receiving the title of ‘Marketing Team of the Year’.

Together with her team, Ewa Lampart oversees the promotional and communication activities of LOT Polish Airlines. In September 2023, the ‘Ważne, z kim podróżujesz’ (It’s Who You Travel With) campaign was launched, with the LOT Polish Airlines Marketing and Corporate Communications Department responsible for its implementation.

TOPDADS AWARD FOR THE ‘IT’S WHO YOU TRAVEL WITH’ IMAGE CAMPAIGN

On 27 October 2023, in Zabrze, the gala of the International Programme Council Tato.Net took place, where ‘MAX’ statuettes were awarded in recognition of contributions to building a culture of responsible fatherhood. The event, which was held under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, also served as an accompanying event to the 15th International Tato.Net Forum.

We are pleased to announce that we received a nomination and a statuette in the TopDads category for the best fatherhood advertisements for our ‘It’s Who You Travel With’ campaign. According to the competition jury, the campaign strengthens the positive image of fathers in social consciousness. The MAX statuette was accepted by our press spokesperson, Krzysztof Moczulski, accompanied by his son.

EUROPEAN CONTACT CENTER & CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARDS

ECCCSA is the oldest and largest customer service industry awards programme in Europe. Its aim is to recognise organisations that excel in providing attractive services to customers.

Our specialists in telephone and email customer service, in collaboration with our partner CCIG Group, who supports the LOT Contact Center’s operations, were recognised for their outstanding efforts.

The Best BPO Partnership award acknowledges the best approach to customer service, with a focus on diversity, inclusivity, and collaboration based on outsourcing principles.

LOT POLISH AIRLINES AWARDED FOR E-COMMERCE INNOVATION

Our Internet Sales, Distribution, and Loyalty Programmes Department has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Best Innovator in e-Commerce’ award, presented by the Chamber of Digital Economy. The competition jury recognised our efforts in developing our mobile app, continually enhancing the lot.com website, and implementing innovations to improve online payment security.

BEST DEVELOPING BELLY CARGO OPERATOR 2022

At the WOF & BUD Awards gala in September 2023, we were honoured with the ‘Best Developing Belly Cargo Operator 2022’ award. This recognition celebrates our record growth in air freight at Budapest Airport, where we successfully doubled the volume of goods transported compared to the previous year.

The statuette was presented by René Droese, Director of Development and Vice President of Budapest Airport, József Kossuth, Director of Cargo at Budapest Airport, and Luboš Lukáč, Managing Director of the WOF Group.

Michał Grochowski, Director of the Cargo and Mail Department, accepted the second WOF & BUD Forum award in LOT Polish Airlines’ history. He expressed great pride in this achievement, not only for himself but for the entire LOT Cargo team, whose efforts have been instrumental in establishing the airline’s leading position in air freight across Central and Eastern Europe.

‘I LIKE IT BECAUSE IT’S POLISH’ AWARD FROM POLISH RADIO

On 13 October 2023, the results of the 7th edition of the ‘Lubię, bo Polskie’ (I Like It Because It’s Polish) ranking were announced on Polish Radio Programme 3. We are proud to share that our company was honoured as the brand of the year.

The ‘I Like It Because It’s Polish’ ranking is organised by Polish Radio SA and the editorial teams of Channel One and Channel Three of Polish Radio. In the 7th edition of the ranking, the station encouraged listeners to support the Polish economy by making conscious consumer choices.

As in previous years, the jury of the ‘I Like It Because It’s Polish’ ranking recognised companies across five categories. The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology and the Ministry of State Assets.

In the first half of 2023, we achieved the best punctuality result among European carriers. According to Cirium reports, LOT Polish Airlines ranked first for punctuality, with a rate of 87.02% across 46,500 flights operated.

LOT POLISH AIRLINES AND CCIG AWARDED FOR BEST PARTNERSHIP

On 15 June, during the Polish Contact Center Awards gala, LOT Polish Airlines, together with CCIG Group, received the main award in the ‘Best Partnership’ category.

The Polish Contact Center Awards is the most prestigious competition in the Polish contact center and customer care/service industry. During the final, we showcased the results of our collaboration and its positive impact on achieving our company’s business objectives.

CCIG GROUP has supported our Contact Center in handling information and sales calls on the helpline. The data shows that, as a result, the availability of our helpline for passengers has significantly increased. This marks the first collaboration of its kind in the field of service outsourcing.

NOMINATION FOR PERFORMANCE MARKETING DIAMONDS EU 2023

The Performance Marketing Diamonds EU 2023 competition is organised by the Polish Chamber of Digital Economy. Its goal is to recognise professionals in the field of performance marketing. It is the only platform in Poland where performance campaigns executed across the European Union are showcased and honoured. The competition aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of Polish teams in campaigns reaching Europe’s 450 million people. We are grateful for the nomination!
