Transfer from the airport
You can get from the Odesa Airport to the city centre by public transport, which in this case is provided by the so-called marshrootkas, i.e. mini buses typical of Ukraine. They have their stop to the right of the exit from the airport. The fare is UAH 7 (plus UAH 5 for baggage). Important information: in Ukraine, you pay your fare when you get off the bus, but first you must tell the driver where to stop. Another option is to get to Odesa (the vicinity of the railway station) by trolley-bus. There is also a taxi rank in front of the airport, with fares starting at UAH 250. Taxis ordered by telephone will cost you slightly less. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the city centre by car.
Amenities for travellers
The Odesa Airport infrastructure is typical of small airports. Travellers can use such amenities as ATMs, a bureau de change, a medical care facility and a left-luggage office. Planning your trip remember that the airport's services are somewhat limited. The airport has a little bar where you can have a meal or coffee, and two shops offering basic products. There is also a room for mother with children, as well as a VIP zone with a restaurant and a conference room, and several car rentals.
