Merlion
Singapore is called the City of Lion. Why? The legend goes that when a Malay prince made landfall to his newly conquered land, he stood face to face with that predator. Marina Bay Sands
You will surely recognise the characteristic silhouette of the Marina Bay Sands complex. The ship resting of the roofs of three 55-storey skyscrapers is known from the "Crazy Rich Asians". It is associated mainly with a luxurious hotel and an amazing infinity pool. Standing on the neighbouring viewing terrace, you will be amazed by the splendid panorama of the city. The complex includes also a shopping centre with an underground river which you can cruise on board a sampan. In search of a more intellectual form of entertainment, you will find the adjacent ArtScience Museum. In the evening, you must see the spectacular light and sound show.
