Zadar International Airport (ZAD) is located about 8 km from the center of Zadar - in the village of Zemunik Donji in northern Dalmatia. Zadar Airport, besides handling civilian traffic, is also an air base for the Croatian Air Force. In 2019, the Zadar Airport terminal welcomed more than 800,000 passengers. It is worth noting that this relatively small Croatian airport has two parallel runways.
